Advantages: Connecting batteries in parallel, every unit that is connected in a parallel circuit gets equal amount of voltage. If there is a break in the circuit, the current is able to pass through the circuit through different paths. Disadvantages: The voltage cannot be increased or multiplied.
Advantages: Increased Response Rate, Low Cost, Real-time Access, Convenience, Design Flexibility, No Viewers
Disadvantages: Survey Fraud, Limited Sampling and Respondent Availability, Possible Cooperation Problems, No Interviewer
The economic, social, and political effects of the Opium Wars can still be seen today. The treaties of Nanking and Tientsin opened numerous ports in China, opening the country to foreign trade. The opening of ports and subsequent increase in trade allowed the tea and silk industries to flourish. Tea export increased by over 500% and silk export rose to 28 times the previous amount of bales being shipped. Also, with the Hong abolished foreigners could now trade freely in China. Because all duties had to be negotiated with foreign countries, they were cut from 65% to 5%, wrecking many industries within China
answer:Advantages of Government:
1.Generally people are less likely to be murdered. Murder rates in areas where several bands or tribes compete for resources can be very high. They may not seem like it, as a single band may only remember one murder in their lives. But for a group of 20 people, one death is quite a large proportion of the population. In fact, it’s hard to distinguish (in fact, may not even be a difference) between murder and tribal/band warfare.
2.Governments support much denser populations. With no exceptions I’m aware of, formally organized societies under government rule are in a much better position to develop the infrastructure necessary for cities and extremely productive agriculture. The amount of crop yields per acre on a modern industrial farm are many times more than what small societies can produce, without tractors, modern fertilizers, scientific development of more productive varieties, etc. On top of that, governments are able to maintain transportation systems like roads, rails, modern shipping ports, and airports to ship essential goods virtually anywhere their citizens live.
3.Governments can change quicker. As much as people like to idealize stateless societies, they do have one quirk that would offend most liberal-minded people. The tribes and bands are far more repressive of social taboos than governments are in general. Even when the government is extremely repressive, it’s usually a large enough body that no everyone knows everyone else, and that anonymity can provide de facto freedoms even in cases of de jure repression. Being outed as gay in a repressive government can be deadly, but the odds of an outing are less than in a culture where everybody knows you. The smaller groups can, in theory, be more accepting of a gay tribe member, but in practice, people are often ostracized from their society. Many ostracized people, possibly most, end up committing suicide after losing the only social group they’ve ever belonged to.Disadvantages of mass murder brainwashing
